Are there irons/iron boards in the rooms?
No.  There are communal laundry rooms available for participant use.

Do I have to bring my own linen?
St Clement's provides all bed and bathroom linen.  Please bring your own beach towel if you would like to use the pool.

Are there kettles in the bedrooms?
No.  There are a number of community rooms with fridges, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh fruit and biscuits provided.

Does my room have hairdryer/TV/music systems?
No.  St Clements' rooms are simple but clean with bedding, desks and those with ensuites include basic toiletries.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Bedrooms and lecture rooms are air-conditioned.

I have mobility issues, is this a problem?
St Clements has a lift and disabled toileting facilities.  Please advise the organisers if you have mobility restrictions.

Should I bring paper and pens?
Yes.  At One Events also provides beautiful journals for sale.

Is there internet available?
There is patchy wifi at St Clements due to its rural location. Mobile phone service is intermittent with Vodaphone being particularly poor.  There are landlines available from each room.

Can I smoke?
There is no smoking within St Clements however, smoking points are provided outdoors for participants.

Where is the nearest town to St Clements?
Harden is the closest town to St Clements for pharmacy and other shopping - to get there requires a 20 minute drive.

Can I attend the Retreat as a day student and not stay at the Monastery?
Yes.  Please contact organisers to discuss.

What else can I expect at St Clements?
St Clements has a number of chapels for quiet reflection, a pool, a museum, a labyrinth, grotto and a number of interesting walking spots.  Closed shoes and weather appropriate attire is suggested for those who like to get outdoors.

I have specific dietary needs - does St Clement cater for my needs?
St Clements provides for vegetarian, diabetic and gluten-free diets.  Please contact the organisers directly if you require further assistance in relation to dietary requirements.
